NCraft Acceptable Use Rules
These Rules are NCraft's rules of conduct and part of the Terms of Use. There is zero tolerance for breaking them. They apply to everything you publish or do in NCraft: messages, topics, notes, tasks, reactions, profile names and pictures, calls, invitations, remote actions and bots.
Not allowed
- sexual content involving minors, in any form, and any sexual approach to a child (see Child safety);
- threats, harassment, bullying, stalking, doxxing, or encouraging self-harm or suicide;
- content promoting violence or terrorism, or hate speech against people for their race, ethnicity, origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other characteristics;
- fraud, scams, phishing, spam, mass unsolicited invitations, and impersonating other people or organisations;
- sharing other people's private information or intimate images without consent;
- malware, and attacks on devices, networks, websites or our servers;
- using remote actions, bots or the local interface to read, collect or change someone's data without their knowledge;
- anything illegal where you or the recipients are.
Owners of groups
The owner of a group is responsible for moderating it:
- approve new members consciously and do not add people to a group against their will;
- answer reports from members;
- remove content and members that break these Rules;
- where your version of NCraft offers it, appoint a successor, so that the group is not left without a moderator.
Owners who knowingly host content that breaks these Rules break the Rules themselves. Admins who remove content or members act on the owner's behalf.
Remote actions and bots
Use rights granted to you only for the purpose they were granted, and stop when asked. Whoever adds a bot to a group is responsible for what it does there.
What you can do
- Block a person: you stop seeing their content.
- Report a person or a message to the group owner.
- Leave a group at any time.
- Tell us at abuse@ncraft.live.
Details: Safety and reporting.
What happens
Members can block you and report you to the group owner; the owner can remove you and your content from the group. We review every report sent to abuse@ncraft.live, act on anything within our control, and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law.
This page is a place to talk. Open it in NCraft: notes, tasks and chat about it sit right next to it, in an NCraft group.
